The title explains the image really, she is loosely based on the myth of Medea the sorceress/witch, wife of Jason (of Argonaut fame lol) ...when i say loosely based i mean inspired really. There is a twin piece in the pipeline which will be Circe the other famous witch from Greek Mythology, not that theres anything particularly mythological or classical about the way ive drawn her, i just had an inspired moment!
Painted in gouache and watercolour with white ink and white acrylic paint in places as highlights..
aww thankyou so much, its taken me ages...well...a few days but thats ages for me! I spent a whole evening with one of my mates just debating what was wrong with her hand, in the end there must have been something very wrong because its now the crystal ball LOL as my art college tutor would say "if in doubt paint over it"
thanks again!

it's £4 an hour, that will work out to about £35 when i'm done. I could charge more, but no doubt some one else who can type as fast as I can will turn up conveniently.
Its actually a really useful way of learning. lol
By the end, Of this I will be an expert on 1960s sculpture, Process Art, Antony Gormley and Marc Quinn. I typed up an essay on Hundertwassre a couple of weeks back so I now know his life story. its good to see other people way of writing - this essay is one of the most intelligent pieces i've read for a while ( something to aspire to) where as the hundertwasser piece was just good enough for a pass, and you could tell jsut from the writing style.
I should have set up a business. Screw illustration, i'm gonna become a typist.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
