Artist's Comments

Part of my Alice in Wonderland re-imagined series, its slow going i know lol
So far we have;
Cheshire Pussy (inked & coloured)
The Queen of Hearts (inked and coloured)
The White Rabbit (inked)
The Mad Hatter and (inked)
The Two of Hearts (inked)

Alice is yet to be inked but has been drawn.

This is the verison I chose to be the official version of the White rabbit, which i have sold prints of etc, however there is a second version, the original version which i wasnt pleased with and scrapped, however im now not so sure which is best so I'll upload both for people to make their minds up on!

Interesting idea for a series. This particular one reminds me of those old 20's pinups during WW1...I think it's the pose. :P Nice job on the inking, too...I hate varying line wieghts, I can never get it right, it seems., but you did a nice job here on that. Anyway, nicely done.

lol I knew what you meant, 1940s ;) the styling was deliberate. I use a brush for most of my inking, unless im doing really tight line work with cross hatching etc, stuff like this is always brush because its more flowing and easier to vary the line weight, did have some brush issues however due to lack of me washing them properly but only have myself to blame! lol

Ah a brush, I never thought of that. What type of ink do you use for that sort of thing? Heck, what brushes? XD I am trying to figure out different ways of doing things than my normal method...plus I don't really like inking pens much.

Oh, and thanks for the compliment about my avvie. It fits me to a fault, I think. Crazy and green...that's me. :ninja:
