Artist's Comments

This is the air part of the elemental series, she didnt turn out exactly as I had planned, she was supposed to be like a bird of paradise but now shes more like a puffball, i like her face though so i'll forgive her the fluffyness :giggle: shes not necessarily 100% finished, im likely to go back and make some ammendments. her hand for starters is a bit messed up.
Painted in watercolours with white ink. hope you like :D

thankyou :D the colours were really important, i didnt want to use the traditional sorts of 'air' colours and im pleased how this turned out.

eh, I think the face and the hair are enough to lessen the "puffball" look. the face especially is strong, and the hair and wings have such a flowing graceful look.
and I like the expression in her eyes so much--careless almost, yet somehow really intense.
